1. Let’s Get This Blog Started!
I’m starting a blog. Maybe. Perhaps a Twitter feed. I haven’t quite decided yet.
What I do know is that I need to get word out there. To build a presence – and hopefully a community – so that others may stumble across The World That Was. But why? Why would they want to read it? Need to read it?
The World That Was is a story of learning and progress. Of humanity and hope. Working in international relations has shown me that these are things that the world is in desperate need of right now. It’s also (in my completely unbiased opinion!) just a fun adventure story. Who honestly hasn’t wanted to go back in time at some stage?
And so I’m starting a blog. I will update it roughly weekly and it will include more detailed updates about my progress with the book (I will still keep the Progress page updated with the stats as I write) and any helpful insights I come across about writing, editing, making physical books etc. Please reach out through the comments sections, I will use them to shape my future blog entries.
For now my focus will remain on making The World That Was the tightest story possible. The best story possible. It is so close to being finished and I will have the first chapters available to read before Christmas!
